Responsibilities

Arkadian Warriors was a collaboration between developer Wanako Productions and publisher Sierra Online.

As the Studio Design Director at Sierra Online Seattle, I was asked by Vivendi (our parent company) to evaluate the game design and rework the design bible to both improve the gameplay design and rein in the production costs.

In a very short time, our team reworked the game play and production plan, to reduce costs. In the end, the Wanako team used a portion of our reworked plan and went on to produce a fantastic game.

My greatest contribution was leading the design and advisory teams to create and pitch a revised game design bible and production plan in a month, completely rewritten by me and a few other team members.
